This lab is hands-on, practical, and tailored for subject matter experts and learning professionals who want to rethink how they create learning experiences. You’ll develop a structured approach to using AI, access a curated prompt library, and gain insights into the latest AI trends and tools.

Format
5 weekly live sessions: Each session is 2 hours long with a short break in the middle.
Delivered via Zoom: Recordings will be available for those who miss a session.
Hands-on activities: AI-powered learning design exercises and access to a curated AI prompt library.
Ongoing access to the AI Community of Practice: Continue learning, share experiences, and stay updated on AI trends.

Ongoing support: AI community of practice
After completing the lab, you'll have access to Sprout Lab's monthly AI Community of Practice, which runs for at least a year after the lab is finished. This group brings together participants from different cohorts to:

- Share insights and experiences with peers
Facilitator
Dr Robin Petterd is the founder of Sprout Labs and host of the Learning While Working podcast and virtual conferences. He is on a mission to change how people learn at work. Robin has a PhD in interactive media design and has taught interaction design in a wide range of contexts.
Robin has been running a podcast series on AI in learning and development, exploring emerging trends, tools, and best practices. This lab is an extension of that work, designed to share key insights and provide a practical, hands-on experience for instructional designers and subject matter experts.
